Happy Holidays From Egg !

Hey All,

Jeff here...WOW, thanks to everyone who made it such an EGGcellent year!!! I am so amazed that a little over two years ago my daughter, Annabella, looked out the window on a rainy Saturday morning and said, "Daddy, I wish it was summer today." I suggested we stay inside and write some songs, and thus Egg was hatched.

My life has not been the same since. After a very long, cold session in Portland, OR, with drummer Dano Capristo, and with the contributions of so many local and national musicians, the CD “Sunny Side Up” started taking shape. The response to Egg has been so amazing, it’s hard to believe that we only played our first gig back in March.

I don't want to let the new year come to pass without giving thanks to some of the organizations and people who have made this such an incredible journey. First and foremost, I want to give a big shout out to the members of the band: Steve Clark, Shahen Hagobian, Christina Cody, and Erin Matthews. Steve and I have played with six different singers and four different bass players, giving Egg a total of 12 members. Now that the members have solidified, we have the most incredible band in the world.

Next there are the organizations and people who have kept us gigging. Giggles-n-Hugs, our monthly home away from home, is an amazing place with amazing people. Joey rocks. Thanks to Ceinwyn Clark and the people at Kidspace Children’s Museum, and what a great time we had at Dragonfly Du Lou to wind down a very busy year, thanks Kirk. We’re also thankful to all the wonderful people in San Francisco at Urban Recess and Tor Hyams for booking us at the West Beach Music Festival. And last, but not least, Marie Kidd, all the students, and staff of Crestview Elementary, and Lila, and all the friends and families who hired us for the many parties we played this year. THANK YOU ALL !!!!!!!

Egg has many, many, many big surprises planned for 2009 so stay tuned and we will see you all next year !!!!
